How Bazaar

Throughout the month of November, some Ripley County area organizations will be hosting holiday bazaars. Featuring some of Ripley County’s finest arts & crafts, and food the Holiday Bazaar sponsored by Theta Nu Chapter, Batesville’s Beta Sigma Phi Sorority begins the month of shows on November 1, 2009 at the Batesville Primary Schools from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Come and have your picture taken with Santa Claus, on November 14^th, at the Tri Kappa Arts & Crafts Bazaar at the South Ripley Elementary School in Versailles. Breakfast and lunch will be offered along with a school full of arts and crafts.  Two other local area organizations will also be hosting Holiday Bazaars on November 14th. The New Marion Baptist Church Bake/Craft Sale will be serving breakfast, lunch and some tasty homemade baked goods at their craft sale. The Women’s Missionary Society Holiday Bazaar will be offering chili, potato soup, bean soup and vegetables soup and with sandwiches. Contact Arlene at 812.689.5948 for more information.

 Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Holiday Parade at Downtown Village Green begins at 11:00 am on November 21st. The parade featuring Santa Claus is scheduled to start at 1:00pm. Crafts and arts featuring local residents will be on display and for sale this year at the Milan Craft Fair on November 21^st.  The fair will be setup at the Milan High School Gym there is no admission charge for this event. Contact Milan High School at 812.654.3096 for more information.
